An English style beer that we have "Belgianized". Orange in color with a tan head. The aroma is all about the whole leaf dry hops added during conditioning. Starts with a sweet, complex malt flavor and a firm bitterness. Then the hop flavor comes on strong from those lovely DH whole hops, lingering long into the finish.

Poured on draft at the brewery.
Pours a clear deep amber color. Very thin head and little lacing.
The aroma is surprisingly hoppy, with some sweet caramel notes and toasted malts. Very floral and lightly citrusy.
The flavor follows the nose: lots of floral hops with plenty of sweet caramel and cereal grains.
The feel is medium-light with softer carbonation. Creamy and smooth and very dry.
Overall, a good representation of the ESB style with a nice Belgian twist. Not really my favorite style of beer but this one is definitely worth trying if you enjoy the style.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery.
A - Poured a nice crystal clear honey hue with a thin white head that fades relatively quickly to leave light wisps, however, swirls bring back that nice foam.
S - Big aromas of floral hops, almost lavender like. Flashes of caramel and sweetness along with decent slightly toasted grains and just a little bit of herbal earthy hop as well. It really does smell like an ESB merged with Belgian elements. Quite fun.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of slightly sweet and toasty caramel notes and malts, bone dry before those floral, herbal hop notes kick in. Just a hint of lingering bitterness on the finish.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body is on the lighter side. Thankfully it doesn't come across as thin merely light.
O - Overall this was a rather solid take on an ESB, the floral notes are lovely as are the esters but it's almost a bit 'too' dry. Definitely wound up lacking some of that tell tale ESB pop. Still though this was a solid beer.

Draft at the brewery
Light foamy creamy head, light lacing, crystal clear auburn color
Nose sweet grainy malt, little toasty, caramel notes, super floral hop, light herbal earthy, lots of sweet fruity esters, juicy malt, great blend of esb and light Belgian esters
Taste sweet grainy malt, reddish candy malt, little toasty but not really caramel, not a ton of malt depth, light herbal floral hop, medium lighter bitterness, dry slight astringent finish
Mouth is medium to lighter bod, medium lighter carb and a little slight astringency
Overall pretty good, starts great, the Belgian yeast added a nice ester component but dried it off and lost some of the awesome esb luster and little astringent
