Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice crystal clear golden honey hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light lacing and thin wisps.
S - Aromas of super fruity esters, almost orange cake like, little doughy, nice hops, almost bubblegum like.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice super fruity esters and bubblegum. Lightly sweet, good vibrant Belgian characteristics. Finish is light hops.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, fluffy, alcohol hidden well.
O - Overall this was a very solid saison with lovely ester notes. Really good saison characteristics.

Draft at the brewery
Fair foamy creamy head, decent retention and lacing, mostly clear honey orange color
Nose nice bright saison, plenty of fruity esters, pear, apple, citrus, orange cake icing, sweet doughy malt and cake batter, wheat, bready, hint of perfumey potpourri alcohol
Taste grainy doughy malt with more cake batter like and wheat, into big fruity esters, some apple pear but candied dried fruit, and big citrus, more orange cake with candy icing, some perfumey but smooth alcohol, quite candy like
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med warming alcohol just right for a winter heavy saison or more like a triple, medium carb
Overall not a style that would normally take to 11% but seems to work well for winter, and more to what I expect from this brewery
