Sacred Vice Brewing Co. “Haunted Marble”
$5/10 oz. on tap at the Amber St. location on 25 August 2023
Notes via stream of consciousness: “French yeast with Brett”. A hazy golden body is capped by a short lid of creamy white foam. The aroma is delicately fruity and spicy, reminiscent of bruised orchard fruits. The taste reveals sweetish and grassy malt threaded through with notes of apple, pear, passion fruit, cherry, white pepper, and leather. It’s fairly acidic and dry in the finish with a little bitterness, peppery spiciness, and some floral and fruity notes lingering. The body is medium-light and it’s gently zesty and then airy once warmed in the mouth. It’s both flavorful and complex, yet still refined and almost compellingly drinkable. World class.
