I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thin finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: moderately sweet with a nice citrusy, tropical aroma. Nothing really jumps out but it's a nice mix.
Taste: kinda like the aroma, generally citrusy with a bit of tropical character. Maybe some grapefruit rind and passionfruit. Not bad, though.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer because I'm a fan of the style, but it's kind of a generic hazy. Not bad, but not remarkable.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
Price: $4.29
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Feb. 12, 2021
Consumed: Feb. 23, 2021
Misc.: No canned on date
Got this and way too many beers on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Have enjoyed the two times I went to Original 40 but admittedly it had been almost 1 ½ years since I’d been there. It is good to see them canning and in stores. Untappd description called it a “Hazy IPA with Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic.” Can’t go wrong with those three hops.
Poured a medium yellow hazy color with three fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect foamy spiderweb lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a nice mix of all three mentioned hops, slightly in order Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe. Also floral, mixed berry, mango, papaya, pine, orange, tangerine and grapefruit. A little better out of the can with the addition of pineapple. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Citra, grapefruit rind, Simcoe, pine, peach, orange, tangerine, papaya, pineapple, Mosaic, mixed berry, mango, floral and lingering peppery spice. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Liked this one overall. (Overall - 4.00)
