Snuck over to Original 40 while getting a smog check mainly because North Park Beer Co. was a tad too far. Picked this one pretty quickly once I saw Sabro. Untappd description was “Oat Cream IPA w/ Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, Mosaic, and Sabro hops.” Would be reviewing this quickly.
Poured a light golden hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of white frothy head when I got it Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent foggy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Simcoe, Mosaic, Sabro, papaya, grapefruit, floral, coconut, cedar, pine, mint and hints of banana. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Got Simcoe, Sabro, Simcoe, Mosaic, pine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, tangerine, coconut, cedar and mint. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)
I think I slightly overrated this but I guess outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)
