Soft Water, Noble Hops and Skagit Francin Malt come together to create a beer that tastes like beer. Malt driven cracker and honey aromas blend with the floral citrus notes of Czech Saaz hops in the rich fluffy head. The flavors follow suit with a crisp but not bitter finish.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: Czech Pilsner
Glass: Three Weavers 16-oz. Willi Becher glass
Price: $2.99
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: March 25, 2022
Consumed: April 16, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date
Grabbed a bunch of There Does Not Exist and Burgeon beers, and a few others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Bine & Vine’s website called it “Soft Water, Noble Hops and Skagit Francin Malt come together to create a beer that tastes like beer. Malt driven cracker and honey aromas blend with the floral citrus notes of Czech Saaz hops in the rich fluffy head. The flavors follow suit with a crisp but not bitter finish.”
Poured a straw-to-medium yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy-to-fizzy white head. Bubble streams coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent foamy-to-watery lacing. Good spotty retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled spicy Saaz, black pepper, grass, hay, Noble hops, chalk, honey, sourdough bread and cracker. Much better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose. This is really good. Got spicy Saaz, black pepper, grass, hay, Noble hops, sourdough bread, cracker, chalk and honey. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium-to-light body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was excellent. I’ll be getting more of this for sure. (Overall - 4.25)
