Poured from a 12ox can (from their GABF entry sample pack) into a tulip glass (aptly labeled from a Belgian beer festival in Tokyo).

Crystal clear golden color with a very effervescent head. Took a few pours to get the full can into the glass while preventing spilling due to the large head. Head was small lace bubbles that dissipated relatively quickly.

Smell is quite estery, a little bit on the floral side. Not much hoppiness for funk comes through.

The effervescence comes through in the taste again. The beer has a very clean and dry finish. The esters from the smell come through on the back end but are not over powering. Maybe a slight bit of phenolic bite on the finish but nothing unpleasant at all. This is a 6.5% beer but overall tastes quite light. I was quite surprised and very impressed at how clean and crisp this beer came out.

Unclear if it will be come part of their main rotation or if it was a one off as an entry to the GABF. I'm hopping for the former as I would 100% would buy this again.

I have tried a handful of beers from this brewer now, and each one has been fantastic. This one did not disappoint in any way.
