An American lager that is true to style without that cheap aftertaste you get from your usual domestic swill.

Picked up a 6 pack in the tri state area for $16.99. For 12 oz cans I think that’s the most I’ve paid for a 6 pack lager so had big expectations for this one. Sadly it’s nothing special for being at that price. If this was priced at at $13 it would be worth it. Tastes just fine like any craft American lager but the pricing needs a rethink.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down and left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sweet biscuit-like malts and grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of the malts and hops are a touch stronger and the hops also contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied (but not watery) and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager is exceptionally easy to drink and doesn't have any "off" aromas or flavors. It would make for a good lawnmower beer.

A: Pours a crystal clear very pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate straw yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that quickly reduces to a handful of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready + biscuit + grainy malts with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. Light aromas of lager yeast and very light aromas of grassy hops.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of bready + biscuit + grainy malts with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are very light flavors of grassy hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away over a reasonable amount of time leaving a clean finish.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a refreshingly crisp + clean mouthfeel. Overall very light flavors and aromas but this beer is so crushable and would be perfect on a hot summer day, doing yard work, grilling, or any outdoor activity.
