a super clean sour, i was impressed with this from a quality standpoint, better than the sours ever are from these little upstart breweries, very well done with the lacto. it pours an almost clear glossy looking pink shade, without a lot of head from the tap but a neat short of hibiscus color about it and enough visible carbonation bubbling up. its tough to say what the berries are, but to my senses its raspberry and strawberry, definitely a little vein of sweetness through it, but the acidity is just enough to balance it and cut it in the finish, and there is some natural raspberry tang too, nice with the lemony essence of the sour profile. its just tart, not too sour to be real drinkable, which is appreciated with the nice low abv. i get subtle cherry and rose wine here too, a lightly floral aspect, but really clean in the finish for what it is. i dont taste a lot of grain or hops, but its okay because everything is pretty light here, a summery refresher without a ton of complexity. i was impressed with the souring here more than anything else, and think they got the hard part done right. all of the beer in here was solid, and they seem to be making a bit of a name for themselves. the fruit might be a little generic here, but this is well made beer objectively speaking.
