Head brewer Gary received a literal shower of hops when dumping a valve of this beer. Named in honor of that moment, this New England IPA has Citra, Mosaic, and Mandarina Bavaria hops.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a very slight hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had wonderful tropical fruit hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
