Lightly foggy amber-gold with a short white head.

The 3 peppers really add enough complexity to make no single one stand out, and the spice is pretty explosively flavorful without being overwhelmingly hot.

Its pleasantly fine carbonation belies the fact that the heat does build, though, but the cream ale base adds a mild sweetness that might temper that a little.

i am usually not the biggest fan of this sort of thing, but they nailed this, frankly it was one of the best beers i had in here, simple as a base beer but nicely spiced with poblano and serrano, tons of aromatics, green fleshy off the plant peppers with a light cereal malt background, minimal but distinctive and extremely natural as well as clean on the ferment. the flavor is only a little back of throat heat on the swallow, but it goes away fast and its way more pepper character than heat, i almost even get the texture of the peppers, the tough crispy skin, the wet juicy meat, even the fiery seeds, but its not residually hot at all, impressive. the beer itself almost quenches the pepper warmth instantly, its dry and bubbly and seems fully intentionally crisp, its a great base for the pepper flavor. overall i was stoked on this, get both pepper varietals distinctly in nose and taste, and think this is a little more refined than a lot of their others i had. cool spot, great people, ambitious beers, check them out when you are in the area!
