Poured into a nonic pint.
Pours medium-light gold and lightly hazed with a fine creamy head. Fair retention. Excellent lacing.
Pale malts on the nose. Faint honey and grass.
Graham and honey kissed pale malts on the tip of the tongue and in midstream. Clover and grass arrive in midstream. A touch of booze at the finish. A bit more attenuation would have made this a little more balanced, as it's skewed just a bit sweet, even for the style.
Solidly medium bodied and creamy. Pretty smooth. Not drying but not sticky either.
This is a solid cream ale that needs a bit more balance to reach the next level. The sweetness isn't offputting, but keeps it from being as drinkable as it could be.
