Poured into a Seattle Beer Week glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, orange, lime, faint light stone fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, lime, pine, catty dankness and a light medicinal astringency. Solid pine resin finishing bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A dank IPA, as promised; the pine component is different in that it has pine resin character, but low pine needle flavor. The finish is quite pine resinous, but with a light lingering astringency. More citrus than I expected, but that was my favorite part of the mixture. Nicely bitter and nice lingering finish, but a bit muddled.
