The sweet, spicy, fruity flavor is off putting. It would seem almost a flat beer if it weren't for the too strong jalapeño accent. The mango flavor is pleasant but seems a bit artificial. But, ugh, the sweet overtone is too much! But, an unusual, suitable beer with food that has a bland quality.

BBD DEC 2023 printed on bottom of 24oz can poured into teku glass on Nov 3, 2023.

Appearance - Hazy orange peach body. Thin, fine sudsy white ring of head. Light fine lacing, decent stick. Low retention. 3

Smell - Smells like mango and chamoy. Soft, delicate, enticing. 4.25

Taste - Tastes great. Good balance. The fruity and spicy flavor hits, then gently tapers off without any off-notes. 5

Mouthfeel - Refreshing. Medium bodied. Clean finish. Fine crisp effervescence. 5

Overall - This one actually hits pretty hard. Maybe the single best offering by this brewery. I'm a big fan of micheladas. But not necessarily of the mango version of it, but this is well done. I could session this one even if it's not my first choice. 4.25

Hazy orange with a fluffy cap of foam, minimal spotty lacing.

Aroma is mango flavoring, not super sweet, lightly floral, mild tomato acidity and chamoy spice.

Taste is much the same, mango is light and artificial, beer is bland and a touch papery, the chamoy spice comes in with a nice savory heat at the end. It’s fairly salty, but it balances out the mango and chile heat.

Body is medium, and the salty/spicy/savory element gives it a little extra in that department.

Overall it’s drinkable, but one and done for me. Not as nice as the regular Sol Chelada blend.
