Pours a clear golden and light copper color. There is visible carbonation with a well retaining head. Appearance on par for the style.
Simple and style appropriate aroma that highlights clean bready and toasted malts. The nose also features a soft touch of earthy hops and floral hops.
What I especially like about the taste is how the bready and toasted malt flavors provide a sweetness that is well restrained. Furthermore, in the middle palate, the flavors of mildly peppery, grassy and floral hops add a nice touch of earthy spice. The crisp and dry finish has a touch of bitterness.
Medium bodied, crisp mouthfeel and lively carbonated. Excellent malt and hops balance.
This one, in all of its simplicity, hits all the right notes of the style. Quite possibly the best Oktoberfest I’ve had this fall.

Freshie can from the brewery yesterday....can tells me "PKG on 09-24-19"

Pours light almost golden, very lightly hazed, leaving nice looking fine sheeting and lace.

On the nose its honey and light sweet vanilla on the sniff.

Clean, crisp and refreshing "festbier lager"...more honey, more vanilla, with a hint of ripe melon...super easy drinking and enjoyable...go get some

16oz tallboy can, comp sample from the brewey.

A beautiful rusitc lager, lots of toasted grain and spicy herbal hops. Decent clarity with a tight white head on top. Exceptionally drinkable and clean throughout. One of the most impressive fest lagers brewed in the US, seek this beer out!!!

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light to amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles that covered most of the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and a little lacing on the bottom sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose along with hints of spicy hops.
T: The taste has flavors of toasted malts, which are balanced off with strong notes of spicy hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Oktoberfest has an interesting balance between the malts and the spicy hops so it doesn't seem as malty compared to other beers in the style.

Pours a clear copper color with a creamy tan head. Nose has noble hops and spicy malt notes. Wow.

The spicy malt notes introduce themselves as spicy rye malt on the taste, and the noble hops welcome them to the party. An excellent example of the style, IMHO.
