Great stout. All the complexity you want, without syrupy sweetness or astringency. A great beer from Industrial Arts. More chocolate than coffee, yet not "chocolaty". Delicate bitterness. You know how an Imperial Stout can fatigue the palate? This one is delightful, start to finish.

A dark brown, ruddy tint with a light brown head. Decent lacing with some nice stickiness in the sheeting as I drink. A light covering on top.
Nose carries a nice blend of coffee and cocoa. Nice roasted malts with a mild molasses sweetness. A bit of vanilla and sugary cookie dough. A flourish of hop florals.
Taste is like a smooth latte with cocoa powered cream. The nibs that are mentioned as part of the brewing process add depth, complexity and flow into the coffee like malt front. A lightly nutty center with a touch of coconut as well. While sweet, the overall construct has a pleasing dryness and bittering. Hops, char and the coffee/nibs combine to create mild but firmly bitter swallow. While long, with lingering molasses, the hops also remain and thus give a lovely palate cleansing bit of astringency. Coffee notes hang in my mouth. No real trace of the alcohol
Feel is full and creamy with a light, slick, syrupy flow. a touch chewy, but overall easy drinking. Mild carbonation is smooth and lightens the texture.
A top notch brew from a top notch brewer. I really love the collaborative brewing of this beer and all the different takes being offered,

Stouts are not regular options at IA so I'm glad they participated in this charity.

S: 4.25 Chocolate. Light roast coffee. Bright hops typical for IA.
T: 4.25 Sweet. Molasses. Chocolate. Hop bitterness
F: 4 dangerously smooth stout. Medium bodied.
O: 4.25 great offering despite it not being their speciality

16 ounce can ... pkg 8-28-20. ....yeah its fresh/young
Pours dark and stout like, under a lasting mocha cap. Leaving abundant fine bubble sheeting. Nice looking stout.
Sniff of roasted nuts, cocoa, and milk chocolate. Yum
Smooth in the mouth and super tasty on the palate.
Notes of dense chocolate, coconut, dark malts all coming to mind...Flavorful and quite a heady offering.....seek out and enjoy
