A fusion of Festbier and Helles, this golden lager pours with hints of honeyed toast and a floral, citrusy finish from whole cone hops. Crisp, light, and easy-drinking.

On draft at Brews On the Alley in Seneca, SC.
Poured with a short, rather weak off-white head over a slightly hazy golden body.
Aroma. Remarkably light and unappealing.
Fortunately, the flavor is way better than the aroma suggests although it too is quite mild.
Mouthfeel. Light body that would likely benefit from more carbonation.

This one is clear, with a brownish-yellow color and fine carbonation that rapidly rises within. One inch of off-white froth lasts a few minutes before turning to a thick blanket. (SRM 3-4). No lace was deposited on a Spaten dimpled mug.
The aroma is fresh and floral, with herbal notes and strong lime. The malt is very faint.
The flavor has surprisingly crisp malt, given the aroma. It has a mild bitterness that builds into the finish. Lemon pith is the only other characteristic I noticed.
It has a medium body with alcohol as expected. The texture is similar to soft neoprene, with a sharp edge that is admittedly odd. Carbonation adds a fine scouring. There are some metallic notes that build with warmth.
While this is not quite what is expected of the style, it is nonetheless refreshing and pleasant. This is probably better suited to a summer afternoon than it is to a cool and crisp early autumn day.

Clear golden body with a consistent white head a finger high. Aromas of hops bringing flowers and gentle bitters atop grainy and bready yeast with some honeycomb. Taste is not as hoppy though leans that way for the style, bright and grainy accents to the covering breadiness that defines the sip in the end. Feel is medium bodied, bright and clearly new world but never gets too hoppy

The appearance is nice, with bright brassy clear liquid supported by a nice tight white head that leaves nice lace on the glass.
The taste is where it looses me. The hops taste wrong and it leaves a crisp bite on your tongue, more akin to a Pilsner.
To me, it tastes more like an American Pils than a Festbier.
It's not bad, but off for the expected style and I won't get it again.

This one pours a very clear golden yellow color, definitely a festbier in appearance, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like a hoppier take on the style, but it’s an enjoyable aroma all the same, with a nice lightly toasted breadiness.
This definitely feels like a bit of a mix of a pale ale and a festbier, but I don’t hate it. It’s got a dry spicy hop character, and a clean bitterness, with a nice biscuity and very toasty malt character.
This is light bodied, super crisp, and clean, with a great drinkability.
This isn’t quite traditionally to style, but I don’t really care, it was quite good.

Canned on 5/13/25; consumed on 9/16/25
Pours a slightly foggy sunflower-gold body capped with multiple fingers of dense, soapy, off-white foam; good head retention yields a slight cap, modest, frothy collar, and a limited few strands of lacing spread around the walls of the glass.
Aroma offers notes of straw and a healthy backing minerality before settling to touches of honey wheat bread and biscuit undertones.
Taste opens to straw as fruity esters brighten and a tinge of grassiness intervenes; honey in the distance over the mid-palate leads to bread crust overtones into the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a light body and moderate-full carbonation, fading to a spritzy fluff over the mid-palate and a level crispness on a dry, refreshing finish.
Attenuated bread and balanced sweetness mark this snappy, implicitly satisfying festbier.

Golden draught with high clarity, minimal head. Toasted malt up front, slightly grainy, a little bready, faint sweetness along with the citrus notes . Bitterness is mild and enjoyable.

it gives me no joy to admit that this lager did not impress me. The Autumn Landscape oktoberfest lagers were excellent. This one falls well short of the standard those beers set. The appearance is the best aspect. Nice coloration, maybe a slight haze to it. The nose is floral and grainy. The taste is too estery for my liking. Nice mouthfeel but not as pleasant as most festbiers. IA has done better and can do better.
