Enjoyed a bottle of this at the Brauhaus Döbler, in Bad Windsheim. This Märzen is a light copper color...perhaps more a slightly dark golden. Head is initially prodigious, whitish in color, with a number of huge foam bubbles making the "thing" stand. I watch it slowly melt before my eyes, down to a thin, fine covering, with excellent lacing. Aroma is a light, toasty malt, though a bit on the subdued side. It has a decent body, and no negative prickliness; fairly smooth, overall. Taste is of a light, pale malt, toasty and a touch crackery...lightly sweet. It has a finishing kick with some floral hops. A good Märzen...with a nice smattering of malty sweetness and a smidge of hops at the end. A pleasant tasting Bier... would be decent in a Maßkrug, perhaps!

Prosit!!
