Pure Project - Balboa Park

A larger sized bar, with tables, higher tech lighting look inside so its bright not not hard on the eyes. Excellent service. SOme great beers, interesting beers, and Ok beers.

Without a doubt one of the best vibes and setting of any brewery in SD and arguably the best beer in town. High quality, delicious offerings with plenty of variety. Beer garden is incredible as is the pizza offered outside.

 

Nice larger version of pure project and hey they both cut off charging customers sales tax. All in all cool proximity to balboa park. Best beer spot before you get to little Italy or closer to north park

Trendy glass-walled corner tasting room a block from Balboa Park. Large L-shaped bar on the left of the cooler case and opposite the entry seats about 25, with a row of communal tables along the perimeter and a wraparound patio outside on the sidewalk. Lively Saturday night crowd. 20 well assorted beers on tap, I had the No Signal and Murklands w/ Citra, both were excellent. Fast, efficient service. They also sell bottles and cans, along with growler fills to go.
