16 ounce can courtesy of my pal Ryan Fanselow (ryanlovesyou). Thanks man! No canning or best before date, but labeled as a new release on the brewer's website, so I'm guessing relatively fresh.
L: Clear amber-orange hue with one finger of eggshell white foam. A few strands of lacing on the Teku glass. Good head retention.
S: Orange jujube, taffy, and pine sap aromas. Some brown bread, lemon zest and pepper. Hint of evergreen.
T: Mostly follows the nose.
F: Silky smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Oily middle with moderate sweetness. Prickly bitterness lingers in the long, dry finish.
O: A stellar and balanced WC-style IPA. Not quite up there with top examples of the style, but still an enjoyable quaff.
