From the can it pours a clear golden straw color with visible and slowly bubbling carbonation. A moderate foam head quickly dissipates.
The aroma opens mostly clean. However, it does develop a grainy sweetness throughout, along with a touch of floral hops.
Medium to light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. As with the aroma, the taste opens clean and with a dry finish throughout. The flavors open up as the malt evokes bready, dry cracker and moderately sweet biscuity notes. Well balanced overall as the hops provide a clean bitterness and an increasing development of flavors. These include lightly peppery and floral spices, earthy, grassy and lemony.
Solid overall. This is a well done Helles Lager that is true to the style.
