Thompson Island and Revelation breweries teamed up to collaborate on a beer to celebrate the craft we love, and we are happy to present the aptly named "Revival," a sour ale with strawberry and apricot. Tart and sweet, sharp and fruity, Revival is a celebration of Spring, life, good friends, and neighbors.

Pours a hazy golden color with a large and well retaining head.
The nose opens funky. This is followed by fruity aromas of tart strawberry and apricot.
This hits the right notes for tartness in that it has a nice puckering quality without being overly acidic. The fruity flavors of strawberry and apricot add a nice touch while taking the edge off. There are also notes of lemon, lime and yogurt.
Medium bodied with a nice kick of sour twang. The carbonation is moderate while the finish is refreshingly bone dry.
This was a solid and tasty fruited sour. It was very quaffable, as its tartness effectively runs the show while the fruit adjuncts compliment rather than overpower.
