Taster at brewery. Pale golden pour, cloudy, wispy head, streaky lacing. Light fruity aroma, citrus peel. Taste is very faint citrus flavors, zesty, smooth.

Thompson Island Brewing Co. "Easy Breezy"
32 fl. oz. can filled on 08/28/21 and sampled on 08/29/21
$10 @ the brewery on 08/28/21
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a hazy deep golden body that borders on becoming amber. The head is a full, fluffy and rocky cap of white. There's not a lot to the aroma but there are some hops and malt. I'm finding it a little fruity, herbal, and "dank". On to the taste... well there are more hops there. The malt is basic, acting as a springboard for the hops which are fruity (orange, apricot), oddly coconut-like (I can never remember what hops give you that), and herbal and subtly piney. The bitterness is median, firm, and drying, leaving behind some earth and dull herbs in the finish. It's nicely balanced and rounded. I'd like a little more hop in the aroma but I can't really argue against it as a pale ale. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. The head held up fairly well, and there are some nice rings of craggy lace about the glass. Overall I have to say that this is an enjoyable and refreshing, somewhat unusual beer that's certainly worth giving a try.
