Pours nutty brown with mild turbidity that prevents reading through the glass. Aroma is melon and resiny hops with biscuity, caramel, toasty, nutty malts. Flavor profile brings the resiny, melon hops forward immediately, with biscuity, caramely, toasty, nutty malts adding more depth and support for the initial hops. Resiny hops cling to the tongue long after each sip. It's big, and it tastes like it. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a light velvetiness. Overall, hops and malts are a little perplexing here, with the hops driving a little one direction and the malts driving a little the other direction, but creates a better balance as the beer warms.
