On draft. Poured out an opaque, oil-black color with a small, brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace. It smelled of coffee, burnt molasses, chocolate and toffee. Sweet chocolate, toffee and roasted malt with hints of coffee. Nice bitterness for balance.
