Smoked English Dark Mild

Pours a caramel-toffee brown with two fingers of khaki foam. Mild fog to the translucency of the beer. Aroma is smoke right at the start. Caramel, bread, and biscuits further develop the aroma. Despite smoke being listed first, it's not over powering or strong. Flavor profile opens on smoke, with caramel, biscuits, bread, and light toffee developing the rest of the mild, flavorful body. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is soft with a light effervescent bubbly texture at the finish. Overall, refreshing and easy going, and yet engaging. Light smoke really accents this one splendidly well.
