Another beer from my football bet with a Packers fan (Go Seahawks!)
12 Oz bottle. No bottling info
Pours a somewhat solid hazey brown body with a white head. Some small visible carbonation. Little retention. Not much lacing.
Interesting scent. I'm getting spicey German hops, yeast, and a small amount of malt in that order. Not an overly prominent scent.
Taste follows the nose. Slightly bitter hop finish
Medium thin feel is appropriate for the style
Overall a well balanced beer. I enjoyed the spicey German hops. I suppose my rating could have been a little better... The sample may have been a little past it's prime.( I believe this was a fall beer that the losing Packers fan sent me in January)
