Having lived in northern Scotland for 4 years, I have had to try every " Scottish style" ale that I can. (in moderation) This one was in a can, poured at 55 degrees into a imperial pint glass. A somewhat reddish , darker brown (Amber). Nice off white head. Good carbonations. Not overly bitter, with a smooth mouth feel. I did not find this as sweet as some others, which was good. Nice finish. Very drinkable. I'll keep[ a few in the beer refer.

T: Caramel, hints of dark fruit.
F: Medium bodied, nice carbonation.
O: No date on the bottle, purchased in late August. Thought it was pretty tasty, but it had kind of a funky finish.
