Back in December of 2019 we lost one of our best friends. The coolest, friendliest and most wonderful cats, Melvin. We decided to make a beer in his honor to reflect his loving personality. 10% of the profit from Melvin will be donated to Francis of Assisi Society for Animals based in Bennington, VT. We encourage anyone looking to adopt to reach out to FOA.
Melvin is an amber farmhouse ale fermented with mixed culture. Brewed with pale, biscuit and caramel malts. This is a 50/50 blend after spending a year in a combination of oak and stainless.

Pours a gorgeous orange/copper. head is gone quickly but excellent carb. Wonderful gentle flavors of melon and berries, pretty tart. Kind of works it self out to be a saisony flanders red. i really like it

Fairly clear red-amber with a short khaki head that fizzles out quickly.
Rather refreshing and lightly tart for a Biere de Mars, Melvin exhibits light cherry and crabapple through a fairly crisp, firm body that finishes just about dry and exhales some wilder herbal, foresty qualities.
