Pours a slightly cloudy, golden orange hue capped with a finger of fluffy, white foam; tentative head retention leaves a spotty few islands of cap, a modest, sudsy collar, and a select few strands of chunky lacing strewn around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of fresh mandarin and taut funk are met with a grazing of oak and stiff white wine underpinnings; stony minerality and wet silt progressively underscore as a distant trend of honeyed graham cracker meets tones of old wooden barn as the bouquet evolves.
Taste espouses mandarin orange and white white wine upfront, leaving residual wet grass, tangerine, and hints of grapefruit peel meandering across the mid-palate before fading with a milky funk through the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a lighter body and a modest puff of creamy carbonation; an even-tempered funk yields modest acidity distributed tactfully over the mid-palate, forming a brightness steadily replaced by a semi-damp swallow.
Zest of citrus brings a deeper fruity contrast to waves of funky wine as a distant pastoral lean informs with an oaky twang; an engaging, in-depth wild ale experience, unencumbered and exceptionally consumable.

Pours a beautiful golden clear with minimal head retention. Carb appears wispy. Musty white grape on the nose. This has layer of sour melon, meyer lemon, and vinous grape character. Lack of carb kind of kills some of the vibrancy of this beer.
