On tap at Freak Folk Bier in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a golden yellow-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like straw, bales of hay, honey, and biscuity malt.
Freak Folk is known at this point for really good wild ales, but I think their lagers are honestly their strongest area of brewing expertise. This has a wonderfully biscuity and bready malt backbone, with a sort of rustic, floral, and hay-like hop bitterness that provides a nice little crisp bite on the finish.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and super drinkable.
I could drink many, many creamy mugs of this one.

Pours a very clear pale golden in color. Tiny, lively white head that fades quickly to nice lacing! Nose is herbal and floral, quite nice! Taste is delightful. Sweet and malty. Mild bitterness on backend.

This pale lager is really hard to find canned/bottled in retail shops. So off to the brewery I went.
The brewery has a nice modern and tastefully simplistic vibe. The two people behind the counter I got to talk to are also the brewers and the nicest folks.
So, back to beer. It's a very clean and elegant Czech-style pale lager. It has a very refined aroma and taste. The color is very pleasant and the pour was fantastic, with just the right amount of foam that had to recede before the mug was topped off.
It is also not pretending to be anything extraordinary. A very honest, delicious, and welcome beer.

Foggy yet vibrant straw yellow with a densely creamy white head.
Straw and even grassy funk come out up front before an herbal bitterness cleans it up in the softly dry finish.
This one's really on point, and the side pull foam only adds to the experience.
