2021 Amber farmhouse ale fermented in wine barrels for 2 years with mixed culture. Prior to packaging we pulled off a single keg of Melvin to condition on Rooibos tea for added complexity. This bier is crisp, jammy and a perfect accompaniment to the changing foliage. Very limited supply.

Hazy acorn reddish-brown with an off-white foam head settling to a fine collar.
Wow, it's far more earthy, mature and woody than I expected, but with brighter, intensely cedary veins. Still, it's far more on the acidic spectrum, with characteristics of cranberry and perhaps crabapple.
The medium-light body feels slightly heftier as it sits on the palate, swallowing semi-dry.
