Dark brown in color with a small, light tan head that fades to a ring around the glass and mild lacing. Nose is cocoa and roasted malts. Taste sweet and cocoa. Mild bitterness that builds across the palate.

On tap at Freak Folk Bier in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a creamy dark black color, with a fluffy head and lots of lacing.
This smells like creamy chocolate, roasted malt, and spicy hops.
This is really quite good, and maybe the best Freak Folk beer that I’ve had overall. It’s quite creamy, pretty much luxurious, with a spicy and herbal hop character, and a pleasant chocolatey sweetness, with a very clean roasty and smooth finish.
This is light bodied, but still full and creamy, with a great drinkability.
Freak Folk has simply nailed this one.
