Appearance - The beer had the look of creamed orange juice with a generous head on top.
Smell - Light orange and hops came through in the nose.
Taste - Initially, I detected a lot of sweet orange. There was spice and also also grapefruit toward the finish. The bitter citrus lingered on the tongue in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - It was thick, though not quite melted ice cream.
Overall - I would suggest this is a hazy double pale ale. It’s not some thing I would normally seek, but very drinkable.
