16oz can, dated 05.13.2024 (Mosaic/Nelson), poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 06.28.2024, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a golden straw color, cloudy and hazy, lemon hues, fizzy white head that offers nice retention and lacing. The aroma is very green and dank, grassy, piney, weedy, spicy Nelson hop, citrus peel, grape, peach, and pale dough. The flavors are good, bitter and dank earthy hop, green, raw and spicy, pine sap, citrus peel, peach and citrus juice, grape, sweet dough and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively medium body, very crisp with a dry finish.
Verdict: A nice IPA that has a great Nelson presence. Bitter and dank yet bright and juicy.
