This Kölsch-style ale is really hard to find canned/bottled in retail shops. So off to the brewery I went.
The brewery has a nice modern and tastefully simplistic vibe. The two people behind the counter I got to talk to are also the brewers and the nicest folks.
So, back to beer. It's a very clean and elegant Kölsch-style ale. It has a very refined aroma and taste. The color is very pleasant and the pour was fantastic, with just the right amount of foam that had to recede before a tasteful and elegant slender tube-style glass was topped off.
It is also not pretending to be anything extraordinary. A very honest, delicious, and welcome beer.
