Notes: Belgian strong dark ale with cherries added. Hazy deep copper to light russet brown in color beneath a short head of off-white foam. Good head retention and very good lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast phenols and fruit. Flavor follows with specific notes of raisin, plum, and cherries. Slightly tart and nicely balanced by a moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with a fine bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation that gently zests on the tongue before warming to become smoother. Really nicely done. Quite exceptional and well worth seeking out.
