Canned on 4/21/23; consumed on 5/17/23
Pours an opaque, pale gold body capped with two and a half fingers of soapy, eggshell-white foam; good head retention sees a finger of cap steadily recede to a thin, frothy collar and dense walling of lacing caked firmly around the glass.
Aroma brings creamy key lime Gushers with a peachy edge upfront as accenting waxy white grape phases through dank mango over the middle and sugared grapefruit meets guava peel alongside grassy resins on the back end.
Taste shows waxy mango and white grape pith upfront, with resinous grass progressing to swampy undertones past the mid-palate and musty guava lingering through the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel delivers a medium-light body and a fluffy, moderate carbonation, dispersing to slick textures and an overarching creaminess becoming steadily taut past the mid-palate; a distant bitterness finds pillowy, resinous grit on the back end and through the finish.
A swampy twang and waxy dank ease over a slickly resinous yet contrastingly clean palate for a distinctly earthy, citrus-forward hop combo; a brightly-flavored offering.
