This one is a very light colored beer, like watered down straw color. It has a really nice fluffy white and lingering rocky head. Little splotches of lacing cling to the glass where the initial head was. Huge plus is that it is crystal clear.
The nose is a very interesting, I expected mostly smoke but was caught off guard. There is a really nice floral earthy hop aroma first that is backed up by a hefty dose of smoke. There is also a nice dose of bread and wheat.
The taste has a nice bite to it that I was not expecting from the nose. There is almost a lemon citrus like refreshing taste to it at first. Then the smoke, hops and wheat malt hit.
Mouthfeel is excellent, effervescent and lively come to mind. Very well carbonated without being overdone. Incredibly clean feel and nothing lingers, except the slightest hint of smoke and it’s so pleasant. Low to almost no bitterness.
This beer really blew me away. First I had no idea it was only 3.3% until I opened it. Second it’s just so perfectly balanced I’m every way

Appearance - pours a straw color yellow, completely clear.
Smell - smoky (think black forest ham). Not much other scents.
Flavor - a lot of smoke, charred wood.
Mouthfeel - light to medium carbonation, thin.
Overall- this beer would be great with barbecue. It's easy drinking and smoky which would compliment it. The only thing is that drinking it on its own isn't great as the smoke covers up all other flavors.
