A hefeweizen base beer fermented with a german wheat beer yeast strain. 24 lbs of blackberry added per barrel near the end of fermentation. It pours a beautiful purple burgundy color. Medium body, aroma has pleasant fruity esters from the yeast strain and plenty of blackberry notes. When drank many familiar hefeweizen flavors are present, which are complemented well by the tart blackberry flavor.
