Drank at the 15th Anniversary Oak Park's Micro-Brew Review organized by 7 Generations Ahead. (Aside: let's see if we can save the planet for the next generation.) Anyhow, Green Bottle was only my second brew at the Review; so I had that reason to like it... but didn't.
Green Bottle (on Untappd with 37 ratings and no longer brewed) claims to blend Bavarian and Czech pilsners. With so few hops, Green Bottle is lucky to be considered a German pils.
While I'm not liking Green Bottle, I'm giving One Lake a good micro-review as a thoughtful gastropub with an interesting menu. After renovating an old bank-like building and helping to revive the edge of downtown Oak Park, One Lake is only three years old and accomplishing a lot. The next brew I have from them will be Belgian... or I may have to visit for dinner. Cheers !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
