New brewery for me; 12oz can pours out darker than expected, amber-ish with good clarity and a fairly large off-white head. Leans into that earthy, resiny hope profile pretty strongly, with a solid dose of bready malt backbone, and the palate is the same. Creamy, smooth, good bitterness, resiny citrus pith and pine, caramel, unique and kinda old-school. Definitely not bad.

Poured from a 12 ounce can dated 7/19/22 into a tulip glass.
Look- Deep amber, very hazy, visible particulate, frothy cream colored head, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Pine resin, orange, biscuit.
Taste- Pine resin, sweet biscuit, orange.
Feel- Medium body, high bitterness, mildly prickly, average carbonation, moderately creamy/mouth coating finish.
Overall- Enjoyable West Coast IPA with more substantial body and haziness than typical for the style.

Draft at Sweet Lou's. Cloudy amber pour with a creamy head. Aroma is faint, light citrusy notes. Taste comes in as a blend of caramel and pineapple, not jiving completely. Let's see if it gets better with warmth.
