Taster at brewery. Golden, mild haze, small white head. Light yeasty , meadow aroma. Taste adds some floral flavors, also minor savory notes and a touch of honey.

a tasty dry hopped saison. i always think american made saison types are way too clean, samey, and one dimensional when its just french ale yeast in the mix, no brett, fruit, funkiness, whatever. here, the dry hopping serves to make it distinct, using what i believe to be all idaho grown hops too, which is rad. the hops are really bright and new school in here, and they vibe so well with esters of the yeast, light peppery spice, some fresh greenness, lime and lime leaf, minerals, lemongrass, citrus tang, white wine and dried flowers, same in nose and taste, still super yeast driven ahead of the hops and without much bitterness at all from them, but enough fruit and herbal character to stand out and to nicely compliment the yeast. the malt base is simple, i like it a little more earthy and raw from the wheat generally, but this is refreshing in its lightness and comes across complex enough to be entertaining with the idaho hops in here. a flavorful beer, id love it a little funky or more old world, but for this type of saison, this is very well done. an easy drinking pint, nice and dry and with great carbonation, and does not seem limited to warmed weather. tasty!
