real neat looking can, but i was a little less impressed with the liquid, not least because the can gushed all over my lap, cold beer soaking into heavy wet sweatpants, not ideal. this seems to have overcharged in the can a bit, i dont think its old, but its tasty beer still, and distinctive, just not quite as refined as it obviously could be. once i get it into the glass its golden and close to clear with indeed some angelic type shine to it, a nice white crown as well, doesnt look as angry as it was when i cracked the can thats for sure. neat hop mix here, citra, amarillo, and palisade, which is the oddball and gives it its personality i reckon. citra does its meyer lemony thing in aroma and flavor and presents as fairly fresh, the amarillo does a little bit of a grassy and spicy thing and seems to contribute some of the bitterness, but the palisade brings an almost belgian ester to my palate, subtle peach and mango notes marrying in nicely with a little middle malt sweetness and body, it has some bitterness as well it seems, quite herbal, fruity, and complex overall, good balance and just a little bit from the ferment keeping it interesting too, lemon and lemon cleaner on the swallow, nice little beer and something a bit different in this style space. didnt love the wet lap, but its a sold ipa through and through, lots of character, bright and lively, nice.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into an IPA glass.
Look- Frothy white head, pale gold, slightly hazy, small particulate sediment, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Pine resin, citrus, floral.
Taste- Pine resin, spicy, mandarin.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, high bitterness, slightly above average carbonation, creamy, slight lingering bitterness.
Overall- Very enjoyable West Coast IPA.

I received a can from @woemad in an NBS BIF. No evident canning date but @woemad added it to the database on 4/23/2020 so it must have been released about then. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a cloudy, honey-orange color with an extensive, fluffy, milk-white head and lots of foamy, soapy lacing. The nose opens malt-forward with notes of lemon and grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, a whiff of honey, and lite floral hops The taste opens with a nice blend of tart citrus, malt and tangerine sweetness, resinous pine, and fairly bitter Warrior hops. The Palisade hops provide an earthy quality, while the Citra and Amarillo hops add some sweet citrus. It's very nicely balanced. It's fairly thick and creamy with lite carbonation, and it drinks easily at 6.5% ABV. Overall, this is tasty, enjoyable West Coast style IPA with a pleasing earthiness. Nicely done!

16oz tallboy can from a 4-pk purchased at the brewery for $16.99. According to the sticker on the plastic can holder, it was canned on April 9, 2020. Unlike what's basically their flagship (Fluffy Puffy Sunshine), this is billed as a West Coast IPA.
Actually, this looks a bit like a hazy. It's a cloudy, mostly opaque copper amber color, with an off-white head that wasn't terribly large but is easily swirled back into life.
Smells like a "new school old school west coast style IPA." Sure, there's a grapefruity, bitter hoppiness, but it blends with a more easy going, melon-like, more sweetly fruity aroma. Not much of a malt backbone, so in that sense it's like a traditional west coast IPA, I suppose.
Taste pretty much follows the nose, and it is quite easy to put away. Fans of Bodhizafa will enjoy drinking this.
Medium bodied, with a moderately oily, resiny mouthfeel.
While not a hazy jooce bomb, it's not a traditional west coast IPA, either. It is, however, very drinkable stuff, and will find it's way into my fridge whenever possible, and I look forward to drinking it on-tap whenever we can do that again.
