Pint pour purchased at Cochinito Taqueria, in Spokane, WA, for approximately $6. Only facts about it that I can find is that it's a "west coast IPA" and that it is 6.8% abv.
Poured into the glass, this was a cloudy, mostly opaque tangerine shade of amber. Very little head, spotty lace.
Citrusy hop aroma, and that's mostly it. Little bit of pineyness as well.
Taste is a bit more balanced between grapefruity and piney, bitter notes, but the bitterness is fairly mellow. Goes down pretty easy.
Medium bodied, and slightly oily mouth feel.
Not really a classic take on a WCIPA, but it's a pleasant one. Definitely unfiltered, so one could be excused for thinking it's a hazeboi. I'd call it good, not great, overall, but it gets extra points for sheer drinkability.
