I Before E has a popping citrus aroma followed by mango and stone fruit on the tongue. Rich in body, this beer was brewed in parallel to Except After C. We took the same base recipe and applied different hopping schedules and processes to the two sister beers.

On tap at Red White and Brew in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like mango, apricot, grapefruit, and pine.

This is solid, but I'd maybe want a bit more balance and bitterness here. There's a good mango, apricot, citrus, etc sort of hop flavor, but it finishes slightly flat.

This is crisp, with a slightly astringent and flat finish. It's drinkable enough anyway.

This was a decent enough introduction to this brewery, but I'm hoping their other beers are better.
