If you know what the Severn is this is your IPA, crafted by your fellow river folk, a bright nose, yellow pour, floral drink, have a few in round bay!

There are so many variations on the IPA theme, it's great now and then just to pour a clear, refreshing, slightly piney and
grapefruity IPA into your thirsty mouth. This is it. I was definitely seduced into trying it by the beautiful Nautical-chart label
that suggested I should have it on my boat... but, I don't own a boat. (Better to have a friend with a boat!) Anyway, this is an
unadulterated American-style IPA with a delicate, mildly hoppy, bitter finish that is perfect for the humid summer we are
about to confront here in Maryland! Tropical flavors of pineapple and guava linger in the background, but nothing in this
beer is overpowering. Enjoy!

Cloudy amber-gold appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Fruity aroma with notes of grapefruit, pineapple and tropical fruit showing up early. Picking up some pear buried a little deeper. Taste is moderately bitter and a bit spicier than the aroma might suggest. Those fruits are still well represented, though. Might be considered a NE style given the appearance and some of the hop characteristics, but the bitterness and spiciness suggest more of an American style IPA. Overall, a nicely balanced, tasty brew.
