Served in knock-off Perfect Pint. Poured a lightly hazy honey-gold color with just a thin cap of white head that had very low retention and lacing.
The aroma had a sweet malt base topped with a combination of frooty, pine, and citrus hops.
Same on the tongue, with the lighter, frootier hops having the front, pine in the middle, and the more bitter, bitier hops at the back.
The body was thick and full, and had a finish that was sticky-sweet.
Drinkability was fine, except for that sweet finish that lingered a bit too long.
Overall, a solid enough brew. Perhaps future batches will get dialed in and this brew will be better defined.
