Initial impression from a can:
A sixer of 12 fl oz pull-tab cans ran me $10.99 USD plus tax at a Whole Paycheck in New Orleans, LA.
"Wine hybrid ale." 5% ABV.
A tart ale with red wine-like leanings and acidity. Light sourness (~2/10).
Refreshing yet medium-bodied with crisp carbonation. Grape flavour and 2-row are really all I get, not that that's a bad thing per se.
A drinkable beer for the wine drinker. I'd rather drink 2 buck chuck myself (which costs about as much per can as this does), but to each her/his own.
Low C+ / ABOVE AVERAGE
