Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops, orange, lemon, a little pine and dankness. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, lemon, catty dankness, a touch of pine and some faint, ripe tropical fruit. Flavor drops off a bit in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A straightforward West Coast leaning IPA with a satisfactory, but not exciting hop bill. Lots of citrus in the aroma, but mostly dank in taste. Has a quite nice level of bitterness, which I appreciate. Not earthshaking, but more than fine for its main purpose to accompany food at the café. This place is near my old place of work and has always been a fine place to get together at lunch and after work. Great patio. I appears they have dropped the word "summer" in the name (bought this four pack in dead winter), but it's obviously the same basic brew with a slightly higher ABV of 6.8.

I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a "can glass". This version was 6.7%.
Appearance: rich golden hue with a clear body and a cap of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a light dash of citrusy hop character. The volume could be turned up, I think.
Taste: sweetish malt with a bit of toasty character and some citrusy, earthy hop character. Bitterness is moderate to high.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly reasonable IPA, but nothing really stands out.

Very clear light golden orange color. Caramelized mandarin orange peel with malt on the aroma. Medium hop bite with light citrus peel presence and a touch of pine and sweetness during taste. Medium mouthfeel.
